Jess’s Put It In The Basket is the vehicle by which 11 13 Ministries provides food boxes. As a young boy, Jess Pilkington helped his father deliver food baskets to the needy and that ministry was always something he loved. In later life, and until his death, he sought ways to always quietly support those who served the needs of others. His impact will be long remembered.

Each compliment of food boxes contains perishable and non-perishable food that is sufficient for ten days based on the number of people in the household. For example, if there are six people in the house, the food boxes contain enough food for 30 meals for each person, or 180 meals total. There may be as many as six food boxes in each delivery. Through September 2024, we have made over 2000 food box deliveries to families and individuals in five area communities.
